Martin Audio SXH218 Dual 18" Hybrid Horn/Reflex Subwoofer

SXH218 is the ground-stack heavyweight of the SX range, a Hybrid horn and reflex cabinet with two 18" long-excursion neodymium drivers on 4.5" voice coils. The horn loading is what buys the efficiency: 107dB sensitivity, 148dB peak, and a response that holds to 32Hz within 3dB with a -10dB point at 27Hz. One iKON iK42 bridged drives it to full output.

Pair two cabinets and the rear-facing configuration gives you a cardioid array; run them forward and the pattern is omnidirectional. The birch and poplar ply enclosure is finished in RAL 9005 textured black with a perforated steel grille, is rated IP21 and tested to MIL-STD-810H, and carries front and rear status LEDs. Four 100mm castors ship with it, along with base skids, mating top channels and six bar handles. A matching SXH218TC transit cover is available.
