Martin Audio SXP218 Dual 18" Powered Subwoofer
SXP218 puts two 18" long-excursion ferrite drivers and a 4000W peak class D amplifier module in one cabinet, which is the shortest route to serious low end for a CDD Live rig without racking a controller amplifier. Response holds to 35Hz within 3dB with a -10dB point at 30Hz, and the pair produces 140dB continuous and 143dB peak.
Connection is the same as the single-18 SXP118: female XLR in, male XLR link out and Dante on Neutrik etherCON, with a rear preset switch covering CDD Live 8, 12 and 15 in mono-pole or paired cardioid operation. VU-Net over TCP/IP handles PEQ and shelving filters, low-pass slopes to 48dB per octave and up to 200ms of delay. Base skids and mating top channels stack it, twenty-four M10 mounting points and sixteen M8 castor inserts handle the rest.
