Martin Audio SXP118 18" Powered Subwoofer
SXP118 is the powered partner to the CDD Live range, an 18" direct-radiating subwoofer with its own class D amplifier and DSP so a small rig needs no outboard controller. The driver is a long-excursion ferrite unit with a waterproof cone reaching 47Hz within 3dB, and the module delivers 2000W peak for 132dB continuous and 135dB peak.
The rear panel carries a female XLR input, a male XLR link output and Dante on Neutrik etherCON, plus a preset switch for CDD Live 8, 12 and 15 in mono-pole or paired cardioid mode. Deeper setup, PEQ and shelving filters, low-pass slopes to 48dB per octave and up to 200ms of input delay, is done over TCP/IP in VU-Net. Base skids mate with top channels for stacking, there is an M20 pole plate on top, and sixteen M8 inserts take optional castors.
