ESE ES274U IRIG-B to SMPTE Time Code Converter
The ES-274U bridges instrumentation timing and video post by automatically jam-syncing to IRIG-B time code and generating matching SMPTE time code. That makes recordings originally marked with IRIG-B, common in test-range and telemetry work, editable on standard SMPTE-based systems.
The IRIG-B input on BNC accepts a wide 100 mVPP to 10 VPP range with AGC, and video loop-thru and color-frame inputs let the SMPTE output stay locked to house video sync. SMPTE comes out balanced or unbalanced on XLR, in drop-frame or non-drop-frame mode, from a 19-inch single-rack enclosure. An EBU time code output is available as an option.
