ESE LX-220A RS-170A Black-Burst Generator, Enhanced Circuitry

The LX-220A generates RS-170A (or PAL) composite black-burst, sync, blanking, reference black setup and SCH-phased color burst, out to eight isolated BNC outputs, for tape pre-blacking and general house sync distribution. A temperature-compensated crystal oscillator holds stability well beyond what an uncompensated generator can manage.

An optional audio reference tone at 0 dBm (2.2 Vpp) is available on a rear RCA connector, switchable between 400 Hz and 1 kHz from front-panel DIP switches. Single or dual rackmount configurations are available, along with 220V and UL power options.
