Datavideo VP-929 4K HDMI Repeater

Long HDMI runs fail quietly: sparkles first, then a black screen at 4K. The VP-929 sits mid-run and regenerates the signal, carrying single-link 594MHz (18 Gbps) so 4096x2160p60 and 3840x2160p60 survive the second half of the cable.

It passes HDR at 4K60 in 4:2:0 10-bit and 4K60 in 4:4:4 8-bit, and hands through surround audio up to 7.1 channels or stereo. Power comes from a mini USB connection at 5V 500 mA, and the whole unit is 145 x 39 x 21 mm and 0.1 kg, so it cable-ties out of sight behind a display. Four cable ties are supplied.
