Datavideo DAC-9P 4K
The DAC-9P 4K is a plug-and-play converter that takes a 4K HDMI source up to 4096x2160p60 and outputs it as 12G-SDI (3G-SDI Level A), so an HDMI camera, computer, or media player can feed an SDI switcher, monitor, or recorder without a separate scan converter. An HDMI loop-through passes the original signal on to a second display or capture device at the same time, and the unit regenerates the signal as it converts to keep jitter down on long SDI runs.
Audio rides along the same box: two unbalanced RCA inputs (L/R) can be embedded onto the SDI output alongside the HDMI's own embedded audio, giving up to 8-channel, 24-bit sound on the SDI feed. It runs from a 12V DC supply, needs no laptop or software to configure, and fits the same compact enclosure and rack accessories as the rest of Datavideo's DAC converter line.
