Datavideo DAC-60

The DAC-60 is a compact signal converter that takes a 3G/HD/SD-SDI feed and scales it to a VGA output, so a camera or switcher program can drive a projector, LCD wall, or computer monitor that only accepts VGA. It auto-scales to a wide range of display resolutions from 800x600 up to 1920x1200 at 60Hz, matching whatever the connected screen expects.

An independent SDI loop-through passes the original signal to another device untouched by the VGA resolution setting, so you can feed a recorder or a second converter downstream at the same time. The unit runs on 12V DC in a small metal body, fits eight into a 2RU rack with the optional RMK-2 frame, and has a mini USB port for firmware updates and configuration.
