Datavideo DAC-91

The DAC-91 embeds analog audio into an SDI video stream, letting you marry a separate sound source to camera or switcher video on its way down the chain. It auto-detects SD and HD signals and sets a compatible format automatically, then mixes the analog inputs into channel 1 and channel 2 of the SDI embedded audio.

Four analog inputs cover both balanced and unbalanced sources: two mini XLR and two RCA, with gain adjustment and a choice of SMPTE or EBU audio format. One 3G/HD/SD-SDI input feeds two SDI outputs up to 1080p60, the rugged aluminum housing runs on 12V DC, and a mini USB port handles firmware and configuration.
