Datavideo CAP-4 4K HDMI to USB-C Capture Box

Where most compact capture boxes stop at 4K30, the CAP-4 takes 3840x2160p at 50 and 60 and hands it to the computer over a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C link running at up to 10 Gbps. The HDMI input accepts up to FRL 6 (48G), and the loop through output passes the same signal on to a monitor or recorder.

Audio arrives either embedded in the HDMI stream or on the 3.5mm stereo line input, and the two can be mixed on the way out. Capture formats include RGB, YUY2, NV12, I420, P010 and MJPEG, and it registers as a standard UVC device, so OBS, Zoom, Teams, XSplit and Google Meet see it without a driver install. Firmware updates go over the USB port.
