Crestron AMPI-8150 Avia 8-Channel Power Amplifier, 150 W per Channel, 100V
The AMPI-8150 is the international 100V member of the Crestron Avia AMP-8000 series, built to sit alongside Avia DSPs in a commercial rack. Every one of its eight channels delivers 150 W into 4 or 8 ohms or into a 100V distributed line, and adjacent pairs bridge to 300 W into 8 ohms.
Mode is a software decision, not a hardware one. Using Crestron Avia Audio Tool, each channel can run independently in mono, pair with its neighbour as a linked stereo channel, or bridge with it, and each can be set for Lo-Z or 100V operation. Ethernet and a USB console port handle setup and control; in 100V mode a high-pass filter at 80 Hz, 12 dB per octave, protects the line transformers.
