Crestron AMP-X1000 X-Series Amplifier, 1000 W
The AMP-X1000 is the top of the X-Series shared-budget amplifiers. Each channel is rated at 250 W into 4 or 8 ohms, 500 W into 8 ohms only, or 500 W at 70V or 100V, with total simultaneous output across all channels capped at 1000 W. Four output channels land on 2-pin 5.08 mm plugs with screw locking retainers, so nothing walks out of the connector under vibration.
Measured performance is the same across the line: 20 Hz to 20 kHz within 0.5 dB at 1 W, 0.1% THD+N at 1 kHz, 103 dBA signal to noise, and -75 dB crosstalk at 1 kHz. Set to power saver, the amplifier sleeps after 25 minutes with no signal and wakes in about half a second when one returns.
