Blackmagic UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3

UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3 is a high end capture and playback interface for Thunderbolt 3 and PCI Express workstations. It handles 4K 60p ingest in RGB and stereoscopic 3D, making it the input and output stage for demanding edit, grade, and finishing suites that need full quality 12G-SDI alongside HDMI 2.0 and analog connections. Both the SDI and HDMI paths work bidirectionally for capture and monitoring.

Video I/O includes 2 x 12G-SDI and 2 x 6G-SDI with quad link support for SD, HD, 2K, and 4K, plus HDMI 2.0 up to 2160p60 and component YUV and composite analog on BNC. A reference input accepts Tri-Sync or Black Burst, and SDI rates run 270Mb through 12G. It connects over Thunderbolt 3 with a PCI Express 4 lane generation 2 path.
