Blackmagic UltraStudio Express Recorder 3G

UltraStudio Express Recorder 3G takes a single SDI or HDMI feed into a laptop over one USB Type-C cable, so a camera, switcher output or deck can be captured or streamed without opening the machine. The SDI input is 10-bit and switches between SD and HD automatically, and the HDMI 2.0 input handles consumer and prosumer sources on the same box.

The cable carries power as well as video, which means nothing else has to travel with it. Sixteen channels of embedded audio arrive on SDI and eight on HDMI, and the unit works with DaVinci Resolve, Media Express and any software that reads a standard capture device.
