Blackmagic UltraStudio 4K Mini

UltraStudio 4K Mini is a Thunderbolt 3 capture and playback interface in a compact half rack chassis for edit and grading suites that need real 12G-SDI without a large desktop box. It brings SDI, HDMI, and analog video into a laptop or workstation and plays back out to broadcast monitors and switchers, with a loop output for chaining a downstream device. The Thunderbolt 3 connection also delivers 45W of host charging to a laptop.

The unit provides one SDI input and three SDI outputs configured as two program out and one loop out, at SDI rates from 270Mb through 12G. HDMI 2.0b and switchable component or composite analog round out the connections. It works with Mac OS, Windows, and Linux over Thunderbolt 3. Blackmagic part number BMD-BDLKULSDMINI4K.
