Blackmagic Decklink Studio 4K
The DeckLink Studio 4K is a PCIe capture and playback card for facilities that live between old and new formats. It moves seamlessly across SD, HD, 2K, and Ultra HD, and pairs modern 6G-SDI and HDMI 1.4b with a full set of analog connections, component YUV on three BNCs, composite, and S-Video, for inputs and outputs alike. That makes it a practical bridge for digitizing legacy tape while still handling 10-bit 4K, and its SDI supports 6G 4:2:2 and 3G 4:4:4.
Audio covers 16 embedded channels on SDI in HD, 2K, and 4K and 8 in SD, plus four channels of balanced analog and two channels of AES/EBU that switch to six-channel output. Black Burst and Tri-Sync reference input keeps it genlocked, RS-422 handles deck control, and it works with compressed formats such as ProRes and DNxHD as well as 10-bit uncompressed. It installs in a PCI Express 4 lane generation 2 slot and runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux. Blackmagic part number BMD-BDLKSTUDIO4K.
