Blackmagic HyperDeck Extreme 4K HDR
The HyperDeck Extreme 4K HDR is an Ultra HD broadcast deck built around a large 7 inch touchscreen. It records and plays H.265 and ProRes files across every SD, HD, and Ultra HD standard up to 2160p60, and the bright 2000-nit HDR display doubles as a monitor with scopes for waveform, vectorscope, and histogram so you can judge signal quality right on the unit. An upgradable cache and deep codec support make it equally at home as a master recorder or a playout deck.
Connections span SDI, HDMI, and analog video, with 12G-SDI on the SDI side and component and composite analog inputs for bringing in older sources. Audio runs on four channels of balanced XLR plus two channels of unbalanced RCA. A USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 port up to 10Gb/s records to external drives. Supported codecs include ProRes, DNxHD and DNxHR, H.265, and H.264. Blackmagic part number BMD-HYPERD/RSTEX4KHDR.
