Yamaha MGP Series Premium Analog Mixer
The Yamaha MGP series sits above the standard MG line as a premium analog console, adding hybrid channel processing that pairs analog signal path with digital control over compression, EQ, and effects. Each mono channel carries a high-grade discrete Class-A preamp and Yamaha's X-pressive one-knob dynamics and EQ, so an engineer shapes a source quickly without a rack of outboard gear.
Two independent SPX effect processors run reverb, delay, and modulation at once, and a Flex/Graphic EQ borrowed from Yamaha's pro CL series tunes the room with switchable 14-band and Flex 9-band modes. The MGP24X and MGP32X add a master compressor on the stereo bus, and every model includes a USB port to charge and play back from an iPod or iPhone. The range spans 16, 24, and 32 channels for stages of increasing size.
