Yamaha DM3 Ultracompact Digital Mixing Console
The Yamaha DM3 is an ultracompact digital mixer built for live sound, streaming, and small fixed installs, with 16 mono and 1 stereo input channel, 6 mix buses, and 2 matrix buses run from a 9-inch multi-touch screen and 8+1 physical faders. Two built-in multi-effects processors cover 18 effect types, including Yamaha's REV-X and R3 reverbs, and the whole engine runs at up to 96 kHz.
The DM3S is the standard model, built around an 18-in/18-out USB interface for direct computer recording and streaming. The DM3-D swaps that networking for Dante, pairing with a Tio1608-D2 I/O rack to put mic preamps at the stage box and run only a single network cable back to the console. Both weigh just 6.5 kg, light enough to travel in a backpack.
