Yamaha EMX Powered Mixer
The Yamaha EMX powered mixer combines a mixing console and a stereo power amplifier in one chassis, so a band or a portable system runs a pair of passive speakers straight off the desk. Four mono input channels plus four mono/stereo channels accept up to eight microphones and line sources through Yamaha's clean preamps, and an SPX digital effects processor adds reverb and delay without outboard gear.
The EMX5 delivers 2 x 630 W and uses a 1-Knob Master EQ to dial an optimized house curve quickly, while the EMX7 steps up to 2 x 710 W and adds a Flex 9-band graphic EQ selectable from 31 frequencies for precise room and feedback control. Both include onboard overload protection to guard the amps and speakers during a hard-driven set.
