Yamaha MG16 16-Channel Mixing Console
The Yamaha MG16 is a 16-channel analog mixer for bigger stages and installs, offering up to 10 mic and 16 line inputs (8 mono plus 4 stereo channels) through D-PRE discrete Class-A preamps. Four group buses plus the stereo bus give an engineer real subgrouping for drums, vocals, and playback, and one-knob compressors on the mono channels keep sources controlled without outboard gear.
The MG16XU adds Yamaha's SPX digital effects engine and a 24-bit/192 kHz USB audio interface for recording the mix or playing back tracks. Both share 60 mm faders, per-channel high-pass filters, an internal universal power supply, and the rugged metal chassis the MG series is known for.
