Vizrt Viz Connect Studio I/O Module

The Viz Connect Studio I/O Module is the rack-mount end of the Viz Connect line: eight SDI I/O on HD-BNC and eight IP channels in a 2 RU chassis, with up to two of those channels carrying 4K UHD over 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI or quad-link 3G-SDI. Video arrives as NDI, SRT, SDI, RTMP or RTSP and leaves as NDI or SDI, so a facility can bring legacy SDI infrastructure onto an IP network without rebuilding either side.

Eight media playback channels and eight recording channels from the SDI inputs let one unit act as ingest and playout at the same time, and recordings written to Vizrt Network Remote Storage become growing files that an editor can cut while the event is still running. Audio embeds on all eight SDI channels and travels natively over NDI, with Dante support through compatible drivers. The module supports the same video standards as the rest of the range, from 2160p59.94 down to 480i.
