Whirlwind MIP6NC Stereo to Mono Line Converter

The MIP6NC is the contractor version of the MIP6: a stereo to mono line converter and balancing device small enough to sit in the same gang box as the in-wall Bluetooth receiver it is taming. Stereo arrives on a 3.5 mm TRS jack or left and right RCA, is permanently summed to mono, and is balanced through a single 1:1 transformer.

Three-pin removable screw terminal plugs handle input and output, and a shunt jumper lifts the ground between them. It measures 2 in high, 1.02 in wide and 1.37 in deep from the mounting surface, with mounting holes on 1.5 in centres. The MIP6NCD version comes attached to a white decora insert for an extra gang-box opening.
