Telex CES-1 Complete On-Camera IFB Earset

The CES-1 is a complete announcer's earset for IFB and assistive-listening use, assembled from three matched parts: the RTV-04 Telethin magnetic driver, the CMT-2 cable, and the ET-4 acoustic eartube. The miniature 125-ohm driver needs only nominal power, which lets an announcer hear program and director cues clearly while working in front of a live microphone. The clear acoustic tube keeps the setup discreet on camera, the reason it is a fixture at television networks.

The CMT-2 cable is a 5-foot (1.5 m) run terminated in a 1/4 in straight plug, so it drops straight into an IFB beltpack or listen station. The ET-4 eartube ships with small, medium, and large earcones for a secure, comfortable fit in any ear. RTS part number F.01U.118.418.
