Sony MSU-3000 Full Rack Master Setup Unit
The Sony MSU-3000 is a full-rack master setup unit for engineering a multi-camera HDC system truck or control room, letting one engineer configure, monitor, and maintain up to 96 connected HDC series camera units from a single panel. A 7-inch WVGA touchpanel replaces a wall of individual knobs with menu-driven access to scene files, paint settings, and reference levels, and 21 assignable keys put the functions a shading operator reaches for most within a single press.
It links to the camera system over 1000Base-T LAN for control of multiple cameras at once, or drops to a direct peer-to-peer connection via Sony's CCA cable when only one camera needs attention. Scene, CAM/CCU/BPU, and reference files save and load from a USB flash drive, so a proven camera setup travels with the show rather than staying locked to one truck. It mounts in a standard 19-inch EIA rack at full-rack width.
