Sony MSU-3500 Half Rack Master Setup Unit
The Sony MSU-3500 is a half-rack master setup unit that gives an HDC system truck the same intuitive control and maintenance of up to 96 connected camera units as the full-rack MSU-3000, in a vertical form factor sized for trucks and racks where width is tight. It shares the compact, ergonomic footprint of the earlier MSU-1500, so an engineer already trained on Sony's panels finds the layout familiar.
A touchpanel with improved visibility, added LED indicators, and assignable keys handles scene selection, paint adjustment, and reference monitoring, and the unit links to the camera system over 1000Base-T LAN for multi-camera control or drops to a direct peer-to-peer link via Sony's CCA cable for single-camera setup work. Settings save and load from a standard USB flash drive, so a scene file built on one show carries straight to the next.
