Sony RM-IP500 PTZ Camera Controller
The Sony RM-IP500 is the hardware remote that turns a rack of Sony PTZ cameras into a one-operator live show. A high-quality joystick handles pan and tilt with one hand while a seesaw lever runs zoom, giving smooth, repeatable camera moves that a keyboard or software panel cannot match. It drives Sony BRC and SRG series cameras as well as the Cinema Line ILME-FR7 over a standard IP network, and speed for pan/tilt, zoom, and focus can each be tuned to the show and the operator.
Up to 100 cameras can be addressed (dependent on model), and up to 100 combinations of angle and settings can be stored as recallable presets; Trace Memory records and replays a whole sequence of camera moves for repeatable openings and transitions. A tally indicator shows which camera is live, and the controller ships with its AC power supply.
