Sony RCP-3500 Remote-Control Panel
The Sony RCP-3500 is the successor to the RCP-1500, keeping the same footprint and core operation while adding a higher-resolution, brighter LCD that makes scene files, paint menus, and reference levels easier to read under studio lighting. Nine assignable keys put frequently used functions one press away, and it drives the full range of camera operations, from white balance and black adjustment to detail and iris, on Sony's HDC, HSC, and HXC series cameras.
The RCP-3501 is the same panel with dial-type iris and master black control instead of the joystick on the RCP-3500, for operators who prefer twisting a dial to riding a stick. Both connect over a standard LAN cable or Sony's CCA-5 cable, with 1000Base-T and PoE support so one Ethernet run can carry power and control, and up to four panels mount side by side in a 19-inch EIA rack. Scene, CAM/CCU/BPU, and reference files, plus the full HDRC-4000 setting file, save and load from USB memory.
