Sennheiser MEB 114 Cardioid Boundary Microphone

The MEB 114 is a SpeechLine Wired boundary microphone that sits flat on a conference table and picks up the person in front of it rather than the whole room. At under an inch tall it stays out of sight lines on a video call, and the cardioid pattern is what keeps a room of open mics from turning into a wash.

It is a pre-polarised condenser running 40 Hz to 20 kHz with 111 dB(A) of dynamic range and a 140 dB maximum SPL, on P24 to P48 phantom. Black and white finishes are available, and the -S versions add a push-to-talk switch with an indicator ring.
