Sennheiser MKE 40 Cardioid Lavalier Microphone

The MKE 40 is the directional answer in Sennheiser's lavalier line. Where an omni clip-on hears the whole room, the MKE 40's cardioid pattern narrows onto the wearer, which is what makes it usable on a noisy trade-show floor or under a loud PA.

The condenser head runs 40 Hz to 20 kHz in a 12 mm by 26 mm body, terminated in the 3.5 mm locking EW connector for Sennheiser evolution bodypacks.
