Sennheiser MKE 200 On-Camera Microphone
The Sennheiser MKE 200 is a compact directional on-camera microphone that upgrades the thin, echoey sound of a built-in camera or phone mic without adding a rig. Its supercardioid condenser element focuses on what is in front of the lens and rejects sound from the sides and rear, so dialogue and interviews come through clean while room noise stays back. An integrated wind shield and internal shock mount are built into the housing, cutting light breeze and handling rumble without extra accessories.
The MKE 200 needs no battery, drawing 2 to 10 V plug-in power straight from the camera or phone. It ships with two coiled locking cables, a CL 35 TRS for cameras and a CL 35 TRRS for smartphones, plus the MZH 200 furry windshield for outdoor use and a drawstring pouch. At 48 g it mounts on a mirrorless body or gimbal without upsetting the balance.
