Rode WS6 Deluxe Wind Shield

The WS6 is a deluxe furry windshield for RODE shotgun microphones. Its long synthetic-fur pile breaks up moving air before it reaches the capsule, taming the low-frequency rumble and buffeting that wind creates outdoors while staying acoustically transparent so dialogue and detail come through unmuffled.

It slips over the mic and pulls off easily, and it fits any shotgun with a maximum slot length of 160 mm and a body diameter of 21 to 22.5 mm. That covers the NTG1, NTG2, NTG4, and NTG4+, making it the go-to wind protection for RODE shotgun setups on location.
