Rode SM4-R Shotgun Microphone Shock Mount for Boompoles

The SM4-R is the boompole version of RODE's shotgun suspension mount. It suspends a shotgun or small-diaphragm condenser microphone in elastic so the flex and handling noise of a pole does not travel up into the capsule, which is the difference between a usable boom take and one full of low-frequency knocks.

Angle adjustment lets the microphone be aimed independently of how the pole is held, so the operator can keep a comfortable grip while the capsule stays on the actor. The mount is 117mm deep and 110mm tall and weighs 110 grams.
