Rode XLR-ID Cable Identification Ring Set
The RODE XLR-ID is a set of eight coloured rings that slip onto an XLR connector so you can tell one mic line from another at a glance. In a four-guest podcast studio where every cable is black and every mic is the same model, this is the difference between patching by sight and patching by trial and error.
RODE builds the set around the RODECaster Pro, whose four inputs are colour-marked to match, but the rings fit standard XLR connector barrels on any cable. Eight rings cover a four-channel desk at both ends of the run.
