Rode NT2-A Multi-pattern Condenser Microphone

The NT2-A is a multi-pattern, large-diaphragm studio condenser built around a 1 inch dual-diaphragm capsule. Three selectable polar patterns, cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8, let one microphone cover close vocals, room ambience, and two-sided duet or interview setups without swapping mics. Ultra-low self-noise and a full-range response make it a versatile front-of-signal-chain workhorse.

All of its controls sit on the mic body: a three-position pad and a switchable high-pass filter handle loud sources and low-end rumble, while internal capsule shock mounting reduces vibration. It ships with the SM6 shock mount and pop shield and is backed by a 10-year warranty.
