Rode NT55 Matched Pair Microphones

The RODE NT55-MP is an acoustically matched pair of NT55 small-diaphragm true condensers, selected at the factory so the two microphones track together for accurate stereo work. Each uses a half-inch gold-sputtered capsule with very low self-noise, and each ships fitted with a cardioid head plus a spare NT45-O omnidirectional capsule, so the pair covers ORTF, XY and spaced-omni techniques on acoustic instruments, drum overheads, choirs and room capture.

On-body controls give a three-position pad and a three-stage high-pass filter for taming loud sources and low-end rumble. The kit includes two NT55 microphones, two NT45-O omni capsules and two RM5 stand clips, ready to drop onto a stereo bar for a repeatable array.
