Rode NT5 Small-diaphragm Condenser Microphone
The NT5 is a premium small-diaphragm cardioid condenser, the classic pencil mic for capturing transients with speed and accuracy. Its half-inch gold-sputtered capsule and very low self-noise give a clean, detailed picture of acoustic guitar, piano, drum overheads, cymbals and orchestral sources, and the tight, consistent cardioid pattern stays even off axis for predictable stereo imaging.
Run on 48V phantom power, the NT5 is often bought in matched pairs and mounted on a stereo bar for XY or spaced techniques. It ships with an RM5 stand mount, a WS5 windscreen and a ZP1 zippered pouch, and is covered by Rode's 10-year warranty.
