The AD-S28Tw pairs dual 8 inch weather-resistant polypropylene cone woofers in a ported bandpass enclosure, extending low-frequency output for AcousticDesign surface-mount systems in bars, retail spaces, and houses of worship where a separate subwoofer amp rack is not practical. The bandpass loading concentrates output in the subwoofer band rather than spreading it across the full range, keeping the low end tight under passive satellite speakers.

At 250 watts continuous and 500 watts program power, it is built for surface mounting alongside the rest of the AcousticDesign S-series family and shares that line's transformer-tap flexibility for distributed 70/100V or direct 8 ohm systems.
