The AD-S8T tops the AcousticDesign surface-mount line with an 8 inch weather-resistant paper cone woofer and a 1.4 inch compression driver on a 1 inch exit, giving it the most output and low-frequency extension in the family. DMT waveguide loading keeps 105 degree conical coverage consistent across the room, and M10 fittings support optional yoke mount or shoulder eyebolt hardware for suspended installs.

The included X-Mount system installs in horizontal, vertical, wall, or ceiling orientations with no drift over time, and a 60-watt low-saturation 70/100V transformer with an 8 ohm bypass is set from a weather-grommeted rotary selector on the back. Rugged ABS enclosures and powder-coated aluminum grilles exceed IEC60529 IP-54 for dust and splash resistance, indoors or out.
