QSC MP-A40V Four Channel Install Power Amplifier
The MP-A40V gives each of its four channels FlexAmp Technology, so any pair (1-2 or 3-4) can deliver up to 400 watts combined output in any ratio. In a typical restaurant install, one output might drive a pair of 70V ceiling speakers in a restroom at 20 W while its paired channel drives a 4 ohm subwoofer at up to 380 W, with the other two channels covering the dining room and patio at whatever split they need. A DIP-switch load selector sets each channel to 4 ohm, 8 ohm, 70V, or 100V, so mixed zone types share one amplifier instead of several.
An 80 Hz highpass filter is switchable per channel, and a remote input puts the amp into standby for fire-alarm interfacing while a remote status output reports amp health to the rest of the system. Class-D output circuitry and a universal switch-mode power supply keep the 1RU chassis efficient, and 28-minute auto-standby with seamless auto-ramp cuts power draw when zones are quiet.
