QSC AD-S4T AcousticDesign Surface Mount Loudspeaker

The AD-S4T is a 70/100V, 4.5 inch two-way surface-mount speaker built for foreground and background sound where weather resistance and precise aiming matter. A weather-treated paper cone woofer and a matched .75 inch silk dome tweeter on a DMT waveguide deliver even 120 degree conical coverage, and the enclosure and grille exceed IEC60529 IP-54 ratings for dust and splash resistance.

The included X-Mount system uses knurled pivot surfaces so the aim will not drift or sag over time, and installers can pre-set the angle on the ground before mounting for a fast, repeatable install. A 30-watt low-loss 70/100V transformer with an 8 ohm bypass is set from a weather-grommeted rotary selector on the back of the enclosure, keeping the wiring side sealed.
