QSC AD-S6 AcousticDesign 6.5 inch Surface-Mount Loudspeaker

The AD-S6 is the 8 ohm member of the 6.5 inch AcousticDesign surface-mount pair, built for installs driven straight from a low-impedance amplifier rather than a 70/100 V distributed line. It uses the same weather-resistant cabinet, rotatable logo and X-Mount bracket as the rest of the family, so a mixed system can combine transformer and low-impedance boxes without a visual mismatch.

The cabinet is painted ABS polymer with a powder-coated aluminum grille and is rated for indoor and outdoor use, which is why it shows up on covered patios and pool decks as often as it does in retail. Black and white finishes are both paintable using QSC's published tech note.
