PROTON ZOOM Miniature 1080p POV Camera with 2.2x Zoom
Fixed POV heads commit you to one frame for the whole show. The PROTON ZOOM does not: a 2.2x optical zoom takes it from a 115 degree ultra wide down to 55 degrees, adjustable after the camera is bolted into a position no operator can reach. It is the smallest broadcast camera with a zoom on the market at 50 x 50 x 73 mm and 234 grams, and it keeps the 12-bit 1080p pipeline and HDR output in HLG, PQ and S-Log3 that the rest of the PROTON line uses.
Power is the usual PROTON story: 4.5 to 25 V input at 3.5 W, low enough to share a feed with the cameras around it. High sensitivity and low noise keep it usable in venue lighting, and a tally light is integrated. The PCI-ZOOM-CON version terminates in a mini HD-SDI connector and a Hirose male connector, with 1.8 m power and SDI cables available, for installs where pigtails are not practical.
