PROTON FLEX Split-Head 1080p Broadcast POV Camera
PROTON FLEX splits the camera in two. The head is 28 x 28 x 20 mm and draws half a watt; the electronics live in a separate 28 x 38 x 11.5 mm control unit weighing 37 grams, up to 30 cm away. That buys you placements a one-piece camera cannot take: inside a hockey net post, behind a lens port in a car dash, under a scoreboard skin, anywhere the visible opening is a few centimetres deep and the body has to hide elsewhere.
Imaging is the same 12-bit 1080p pipeline as the rest of the line, HDR compliant with HLG, PQ and S-Log3, with a field of view up to 120 degrees on the widest optic. Total draw is 2.5 W across head and control unit on a 4.5 to 25 V supply. A stereo microphone and integrated tally light are included.
