PROTON 4K FLEX Split-Body 4K60 POV Camera
The 4K FLEX is the PROTON 4K with its body cut in two. The sensor head is 28 x 28 x 19.5 mm and runs cold; the video processing unit, which is the part that gets warm, sits in a separate 56.5 x 54 x 22 mm housing on a ribbon up to 30 cm away. That is the difference between a 4K POV shot you can rig and one you cannot: a goal post, a dashboard lens port, a scoreboard skin or a set piece only has to swallow the head.
Imaging is the standard PROTON 4K pipeline, an 8.8 mm 12-bit sensor running up to 4Kp60 on S-mount glass. Output and control land on M-BNC and a 6-pin Hirose, and the whole camera draws 6 W on a 12 to 25 V supply, so it shares the same power runs as the fixed heads around it. It is the smallest 4K dual-body camera PROTON builds.
