The 500458-ARC kit extends HDMI over one Cat5e/6 cable, holding 4K at 24/25/30Hz 4:4:4 and 4K/60 4:2:0 to 131ft (40m), or 1080p with full 3D to 230ft (70m). It is HDCP 2.2 compliant.

Audio Return Channel support is the reason to pick this version: sound generated by apps on the far-end smart display travels back down the link to the amplifier at the source end, rather than needing a separate audio run. RS232 pass-through covers display control.
