MuxLab 500502 DisplayPort 1.2a Fiber Extender Kit

The 500502 kit transmits WQUXGA (3840 x 2400) at 60Hz over multimode fibre up to 660ft (200m) with no scaling and no compression applied. Total throughput is 21.6Gbps, 5.4Gbps per lane.

It supports the DisplayPort 1.2a standard over OM3 or OM4 fibre and handles Dual-Mode DP (DP++) sources. The usual application is putting a high-resolution monitor a long way from the workstation driving it, in medical imaging, control rooms, and design studios.
