Martin Audio CDD6TX-WR 6.5" Weather-Resistant Coaxial Loudspeaker

The CDD6TX-WR steps the weather-resistant CDD range up to a 6.5" long-excursion LF driver with a coaxial 1" fabric dome, in a 9 litre composite enclosure. Response reaches 80Hz within 3dB and the Differential Dispersion horn narrows from 110 to 80 degrees horizontally with distance, keeping level even across a courtyard or a covered walkway rather than blasting the first two tables.

The transformer is the reason for the TX suffix: 100V taps at 12.5, 25 and 50W or 70V taps at 6.5, 12.5, 25 and 50W, published with their resulting SPL so a designer can pick a tap from the drawing. The IP54 build carries a zinc-plated powder-coated steel grille with weatherised backing, a low-profile 13A push-lock connector under a weatherproof cover with dual cable glands, and four M6 inserts for wall or ceiling brackets. Black, white and marine-grade white finishes are offered.
