Martin Audio CDD8-WR 8" Weather-Resistant Coaxial On-Wall Loudspeaker

The CDD8-WR is the weather-resistant build of the 8-inch CDD, a 14 litre composite enclosure with an 8" long-excursion LF driver sharing a ferrite motor with a coaxial 1" exit polyimide compression driver. The Differential Dispersion horn covers 110 degrees close in and tightens to 80 degrees on the throw, which is what keeps a hotel terrace or a stadium concourse at an even level from the first row to the far wall.

It is a low-impedance 8 ohm cabinet, 200W AES and 800W peak for 123dB peak output, so it pairs with an iKON amplifier or a VIA and DX4.0 controller rather than a distributed line. The weather package is the same across the WR range: a zinc-plated, powder-coated steel grille with weatherised backing, a low-profile 13A push-lock connector under a weatherproof panel cover with cable gland, stainless fixings and IP54 rating. Six M6 inserts take the weatherised wall and yoke brackets, and it is rotatable for portrait or landscape use.
