Martin Audio FlexPoint FP8 8" Coaxial Point Source Loudspeaker

FP8 is the 8-inch FlexPoint, a passive two-way coaxial with a neodymium LF driver and a 1" exit compression driver on a 1.7" HT polymer dome, good for 124dB peak over 90 degrees horizontal by 70 degrees vertical. As on the FP6, the HF waveguide lives inside the magnet structure and merges into a contoured LF cone, so there is no add-on horn sitting in front of the wavefront and no high frequency beaming.

Deployment is where the extra size pays. The base carries a dual pole-mount socket with 0 and 15 degree down-tilt positions, twin handle pockets make it manageable on a truck, and four M10 plus fifteen M6 inserts take yokes, wall brackets and truss clamps. Quick-release grille latches and captive clamps let the driver rotate through 90 degrees for portrait or landscape use. The birch ply enclosure is IP54 rated with two speakON NLT4FXX connectors fitted, and runs from iKON amplifiers or VIA amplifiers with a DX4.0, DX0.4 or DX0.6 controller.
